Purpose

We're searching for a performance testing specialist that is both creative and talented, as well as someone who has great performance engineering skills. The goal of this position is to collaborate closely across technological groups to advocate for and implement scalability, endurance, and load related KPIs in our development processes. And ensuring that our products are up to the task of meeting high client expectations.

Responsibilities of the Role

o Design Performance Test Scripts for enterprise applications based on Requirements

o Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes

o Perform Performance Engineering amp; Performance Improvement activities

o Run and manage performance test campaigns

o Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports

o Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance

o Assume primary responsibility as Performance Testing SPOC

o Support the Test Automation group with creating and maintaining test automation beds

Requirements of the Role

• Computer Science Degree a significant advantage.
• Work Experience
  • At least 7+ years of experience in Performance Test Engineering including performance testing framework development
• Having worked in and has a deep level of understanding in the following:
  • Performance Testing Strategy, Analysis, Design and Framework development
  • Performance Testing tools like JEMETER, NEWLOAD, Performance Centre and other market leading open-source tools
  • Performance Testing Framework design and development to verify performance of application through load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing from both front and back-end tires of the application.
  • Integration of Performance Testing as part of release lifecycle through GITLAB integration.
  • Testing web services and APIs with XML and JSON payloads
  • JIRA, Confluence, and bug tracking tools such as TestFLO
  • Build and automation tools such as Jenkins and Maven
  • Databases SQL language and scripting (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Microservices architecture testing
• Bonus skills and experience desired:
  • Led journey of applications or Products from Medium to Enterprise Scale
  • Programming experience in Java or other language
  • Performance Testing or Test Automation experience of Asynchronous web application protocols like WebSockets
  • Performance Testing or Test Automation experience of Chat Commerce Applications
  • Git or other source control management tools
  • Manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, TestNG
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud-based infrastructures
  • Integration with telecommunications service providers
