Job Summary

This role is instrumental as IPEX is currently undertaking a large multi-year business transformation program triggered by a greenfield SAP S4/Hana implementation across its group of companies.
You are a talented and experienced IT Business Analyst with a demonstrated ability in being a key contributor or leading SAP projects through the phases of analysis, design, configuration and implementation in a complex Manufacturing, Distribution and Sales environment. Work directly with clients and system vendors to help identify and clarify business needs, facilitating workshops to gather and document specific business and functional requirements, working independently or collaboratively with Project managers amp; Developers to complete software projects.
Principal Responsibilities
- Build and handle collaborators relationships including business users, vendors, customers, project team members and management leaders.
- Understand the Ipex business processes in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Warehouse related areas.
- Act as the spokesperson to advocate for the business with new capabilities or functionality within systems.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and work with the development team or external suppliers to transfer them into technology solutions.
- Suggest improvements to SAP solution to improve efficiency in operation.
- Lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing sessions for confirmation of requirements implementation prior to deployment.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope.
- Successfully handle changes and issues during requirements gathering process, get approval and design sign-off from the business.
- Ensure appropriate team members are involved and acquire required information for gathering and validating requirements and other artifacts.
- Help the business to quantify the improvement opportunity through data and estimates.
- Educate stakeholders on benefits of changes and acquire their agreement.
- Communicate progress, risks, barriers, and status on a periodical basis.
Requirements
Qualifications amp; Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or Computer Science, or other related fields.
- Excellent business knowledge around manufacturing processes.
- Industry Experience: 4+ years of established experience designing and improving processes and user experiences for sophisticated manufacturing organizations - preference in Process Manufacturing.
- Process Experience: 2+ years of functional EWM experience is an asset, and hands-on required with an emphasis on:
- Organizational Structures
- Inbound processes and Outbound processes
- Production Staging and Replenishment
- Physical Inventory
- Quality Management Integration
- ERP Experience: Capturing requirements, design, configuring and implementing SAP S/4 or ECC EWM.
- Communication: Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English. French is considered an asset.
- Project Lead/Management: Validated ability to advise and collaborate with resources without direct management responsibility. Ability to identify, mitigate and raise risk to project deliverables.
- Collaborative Skills: Ability to build rapport, influence and problem solve with various levels of the organization.
- Curiosity and interest to learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and inspire change.
- SAP Certifications considered a strong asset.
