We currently have a phenomenal permanent opportunity as a Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative! This role is based out of Edmonton, AB. This position will be responsible for performing daily operational activities relating to customer service and data entry.
Position Summary:
Major responsibilities include:
- Report to supervisor immediately all: near misses, work-related accidents; structural failures, or property damage; potential incidents regarding people, equipment, materials, and/or environment; releases of hazardous chemicals/discharges.
- Accountable for timely and accurate processing of all customer requirements.
- Stock transfers to be scheduled in compliance with carrier agreement and managing the warehouse workload to minimize demurrage charges.
- Ordering supplies at pre-established deadlines based on obtaining optimal/extended invoice dates.
- Participates in maintaining warehouse facility to mandated 5S and Aliaxis Global standards.
- Performs equipment and site inspection sheets within time parameters established by ALNA Health amp; Safety rules
Requirements
- Minimum grade 12 (High School) graduate
- Formal business seminars or education is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Data entry experience is necessary
- 3 years of experience in the Sales/Customer service field and/or related industry knowledge
- Must be able to pass certification for stock picker/lift truck
