Your Future Role:
ICS is currently searching for a Construction and Maintenance Electrician. As an Electrician at ICS, you would be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical equipment and fixtures at customer sites, as well as inspecting electrical systems and equipment, identifying hazards and defects, and performing repairs to ensure compliance with electrical codes.
Responsibilities:
- Power Distribution Systems
- Single Phase and Three Phase
- MCC installation
- Switchgear/Switchboard installation
- Industrial Automation
- System Retrofitting; relay logic conversion to PLC driven systems
- System Upgrading; replacement/upgrading of outdated PLC systems to newer hardware
- Control wiring to field devices; proximity sensors, point level indication, continuous level indication, flow indication, temperature indication, position indication
- Custom control panel building
- Run conduit amp; pull wire
- EMT
- Rigid Steel
- On-site wiring of field devices and equipment
- Assist foreman on job sites
- Assist in training of apprentices
Requirements
- Must have 309A Construction and Maintenance license
- Must be in good standings with the College of Trades
- Would be considered an asset if you have previous industrial electrical experience
- Bonus if you have experience with rigid conduit
