Job Description
The Opportunity
We are looking for an HR Assistant amp; Recruiter to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties as well manage our full cycle recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with using HR software and tools. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.
Your Top Priorities
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, benefits, personal information, leave of absences, turnover rates, etc.)
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR team
- Assist and support employee engagement initiatives
- Design and update job descriptions
- Source potential candidates from various online channels
- Screen incoming resumes
- Schedule calls and interviews
- Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
- Participate in recruiting events
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Act as back up support for HR Generalist
Requirements
What it Takes to Succeed
- 1-2 years work experience as an HR Admin, HR Assistant, or similar role
- Human Resources Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must have exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken)
