West can Auto Parts is currently looking for PART TIME DELIVERY DRIVER(s) 2-3 days per week. Also looking for one Saturday only driver, great for extra cash. HIRING @ PORT COQUITLAM amp; @ COQUITLAM locations, vehicle is provided.
- Checking parts for quality, making sure it is in salable condition. Also checking that part numbers are on the invoice.
- Ensure that all pulled parts are labeled properly and on the invoice. Checking proper quantity is also accurate.
- Load auto parts into the delivery vehicle (truck or van depending on the size of delivery) and ensure that they are properly and safely loaded.
- Deliver auto parts to customers and ensure that they check them for accuracy.
- Take cash and check payments and give receipts using a mobile payment system.
- Use radio to communicate with shipper.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Operate vehicle in a safe manor
- Back up in store positions when needed, putting away stock
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Follow direction from the shipper
Requirements
- MUST HAVE CLASS 5 LICENCE
- Good driving record, drivers abstract required
- Maintain professional attitude
