Job Description
Valard Construction is Canada’s premier utility contractor, as well as head of the Valard Group of Companies and part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications, and renewable energy.
We are currently looking for qualified labourers for a project in Regina SK.
Requirements
- Packing tools into trucks
- Working around heavy equipment and assisting operators
- Working with hand power tools
- Setting forms and supporting concrete forms
- Taking direction from crew lead on various tasks
- Loading/unloading construction materials both mechanically and by hand
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Preform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Potential to working longer shifts may be required
- Physically fit with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License is an asset
- Skid Steer/Loader experience is an asset
- Must be local to Regina area *accommodations and LOA are not provided*
