Job Description
MealSuite is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Frontend development team on our mission to revolutionize the continuum of care through our all-in-one foodservice management technology.
Our International Development team works around the clock building innovative solutions that help our customers in senior living and healthcare industries enhance the mealtime experience for their patients and residents. As part of our dev team, your mission is to stay on top of the latest releases, contribute to projects, and deliver the best possible solutions for our customers.
As part of the development team, you will:
- Be an active contributor during the project specification and requirement gathering phase.
- Use application logic to check the feasibility of the application.
- Write reusable code blocks and finish the coding within the stipulated time.
- Identify problem areas and bring relevant changes.
- Collaborate with back-end developers for integration of the application.
- Perform UI tests to ensure maximum performance.
- Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs
- Participate in Agile Scrum Squads using Jira
Requirements
Experience you bring:
- 5+ years developing web and mobile applications.
- Strong experience developing responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 amp; UI frameworks.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong Experience with Angular 8+
- Experience with Ionic Framework v4 and up ideal
- Applied knowledge of web and mobile development best practices.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals and development process and strategies (ie: software development models, database systems, TDD, unit tests, domain-driven design, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, in English, with the ability to present ideas and solutions clearly.
- Must be a self-motivated, results-oriented, team player, who is open-minded, collaborative, and adaptable.
- Keen to learn and keep up with new technology.
