About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (Co-Founder), the Senior Vice President of Marketing is a proven B2B SaaS marketing leader positioned to set the company’s marketing direction amp; priorities, and own the company’s end-to-end marketing programs including demand generation, brand awareness, product marketing, and sales enablement. Partnering with AlayaCare's sales team, the SVP Marketing will help to drive consistent annual growth in an constantly-changing healthcare and digital marketing landscape. The SVP Marketing is expected to execute individually and manage/lead a large marketing team to produce measurable impacts on business results, including new customer acquisition, account expansion and overall revenue.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead AlayaCare's marketing plan:

  • Set the Marketing direction, priorities, metrics, goals and overall roadmap to support the Company’s higher-level business objectives
  • Accountable for achieving the company’s Marketing goals and deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Co-own created and closed revenue numbers with Sales, delivering high-quality leads that convert into ARR
  • Partner with Sales to increase velocity of the sales funnel and revenue pipeline
  • Develop and execute multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns that leverage digital, email, events, partner and sales channels
  • Bring new and creative ideas to the table regarding acquisition, retention and growth
  • Work cross functionally with key internal partners including Sales, Product, Finance, Client Success, etc.
  • Act as a primary stakeholder with Product Marketing to identify product and partner requirements to fuel growth
  • Work effectively with external business partners to identify potential joint marketing opportunities
  • Manage external agency and other outside consultants and vendors (as necessary) to efficiently scale our growth and internal execution
  • Leverage data to improve the tactical execution of the strategy

Lead and manage a team:

  • Lead, mentor, and empower the marketing team of ~25 employees (6-8 direct reports)
  • Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports and broader marketing team to maximize their individual potential and professional growth, as well as ability to function effectively as a team
  • Maintain a culture of collaboration, accountability and autonomy
  • Cultivate an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity and continuous improvement; you and your team must be forward thinking and always testing new opportunities
  • Manage planning, staffing, budgeting and expenses

Test, learn, and optimize:

  • Identifies, quantifies, prioritizes and executes opportunities to test new and emerging channels
  • Analyzes campaign and channel performance to drive continued process improvements
  • Uses data to test/learn/optimize integrated campaigns that drive the highest quality leads and feed revenue growth for the company
  • Designs and reviews the Marketing department’s budget, ensuring appropriate fiscal management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area of study?
  • 10+ years of related experience, ideally in B2B SaaS acquisition marketing, across a variety of channels and running cross-functional campaigns to acquire enterprise customers
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a Marketing Leadership role at a B2B SaaS growing company
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience managing large teams, with a strong desire and high skill in the development of people in a supportive, collaborative and accountable environment
  • Sound knowledge of all key vertices under the marketing umbrella?
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and work
