Job Description

ExoShield is a transparent film that is applied on a vehicle’s windshield (just like window tint) to prevent stone chips. ExoShield is a must have anyone who owns vehicles with sensor-enabled safety systems (ADAS), and wants to protect themselves against increasingly expensive windshield replacements. With 900 million vehicles with ADAS-technology entering the market in the next decade, our goal is to position ExoShield as the primary solution to what will be a $175 billion/year problem.

ExoShield is the first product of Alchemy, a Y-Combinator funded scale-up, backed by leading angel and venture capital investors in the US/Silicon Valley, Canada, France, and China.

We’re looking for someone to join our team as a Territory Manager to grow Exoshield’s presence in the market through our channel partners.

Job Description

ExoShield is sold through channel partners (automotive aftermarket restyling shops, car dealerships, auto-glass shops) in more than 30 countries today. In this role, you’ll be assigned a geographical territory to manage, where you will be tasked with developing and supporting our channel partners to help them thrive with ExoShield, and strategically growing the number of active accounts.

Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer, you'll be responsible for driving growth of ExoShield in your respective territory by working with and developing existing accounts to increase sell-through of ExoShield at their business to generate re-orders, and by prospecting, qualify, and close new accounts in the territory. As the main point of contact for your accounts, you will be tasked with tailoring your support for each partner in order to help them succeed, and collecting feedback/data from our partners to understand how we can grow as a company to better support our partners.

At a high level, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Initiating outreach and driving engagement within your partner network through a high volume of daily touch points to keep your finger on the pulse.
  2. Developing a deep understanding of each partner, their business, and their local market to build an ExoShield growth strategy alongside them
  3. Understanding and solving blockers that are slowing or preventing prospect sales and partner reorders
  4. Becoming an industry expert to support the installation, marketing and sell-through of ExoShield.
  5. Prospecting in your respective territory to identify top-tier qualified partners in targeted markets
  6. Engaging and closing targeted prospects to grow partner network and develop territory
  7. Onboarding new partners to the ExoShield ecosystem once they have placed their first order and building a healthy working relationship with them
  8. Developing dependable and achievable revenue forecasts amp; achievement plans for your territory
  9. Building and leveraging relationships with partners and industry peers to source strategic referrals to support our network growth objectives
  10. Working closely with our marketing team to inform their development of partner success resources and sales amp; marketing enablement content

We're looking for a personable and persuasive individual that’s an excellent written and oral communicator; someone who can balance dozens of active conversations with customers and build deep relationships with our channel partners. You don’t need to have worked in the automotive industry to succeed in this role, but you need to be able to connect with our partners on a personal and professional level in order to build trust and foster a mutually successful relationship.

The following experiences and skills will help you succeed in this role:

  1. 2+ years of experience managing channel sales accounts in automotive, hardware, or technology fields
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish fluency is a bonus)
  3. Polished phone, text, and email communication skills (Instagram and Facebook communication skills are a huge bonus)
  4. Strong capability to digest every technical and non-technical detail about products and their ecosystems, and leveraging it to help partners succeed
  5. Strong ability to bridge communication and cultural barriers when speaking with partners
