We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton, ON Office.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for generating quality written materials for organization’s website.
- Assist in creating visual content/ elements to go along with written material and ensure SEO best practices are followed.
- Write SEO-focused copy for blogs, social media accounts, guides, landing pages and more
- Publish and update content on our website that meets the needs of our audience.
- Manage our social media channels and build an engaged following.
- Research the latest business trends and challenges.
- Share ideas that shape our marketing strategy at large.
- Work closely and effectively with our teams to communicate ideas, thoughts and strategies regarding content.
- Execute and deliver a wide range of content according to company’s necessities.
- Research, brainstorm, and pitch creative and compelling article topics
- Proofread, edit, and submit all content for accuracy and quality prior to publication.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
- Work with our internal teams to identify opportunities and plan improvements to existing content and internal processes
Requirements
- 3+ years' writing experience, preferably working for blogs, news organizations, magazines, or other publications.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to tailor content for each target audience
- Able to absorb new material quickly.
- Proven ability to manage projects and juggle a diverse workload while meeting all deadlines.
- Strong SEO knowledge
- You may additionally share samples of published web pages/ sample content.
