Are you wanting to travel as a Combined Labratory and X-Ray Technologist? We have opportunities for travel Xray techs in BC!
As a Travel Nurse Company, we have been sending medical staff on amazing travel work contracts and are expanding. As such, we are looking for qualified Lab Techs to fill the ever growing needs in the Healthcare Industry.
If you have experience and education as an Xray Tech, and a passion for travel, you might be exactly the candidate for the job.
Contract terms run 4 weeks to months; depending on the need and contract length you are looking for.

Responsibilities:
- Necessary education and active membership in good standing with CAMRT
- High quality diagnostic images with a high level of patient care
- Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Desire for lifelong learning to enhance experience and skills
- Commitment to excellence while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of patient information
- Dedication to health and safety while conducting procedures and operating medical imaging equipment
- Proof of full vaccination against Covid-19
- Performing required examinations with proper care, respect, attention and safety.
- Preparing diagnostic equipment for examinations and performing required quality assurance activities.
- Ensures that medical imaging equipment is performing effectively and that workplace is sanitized and clean.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Completion of a two- to three-year college, hospital or other approved program in diagnostic radiography or magnetic resonance imaging (for radiological technologists and magnetic resonance technologists), nuclear medicine technology (for nuclear medicine technologists) or radiation therapy (for radiation therapists) or A bachelor of health sciences in radiography, nuclear medicine or radiation therapy and A period of supervised practical training are required.
- Licensure with a regulatory body is required in all provinces.
- Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists is required in all provinces
