What We Are Looking For:
Persado is looking for a skilled B2B tech content marketing manager to strategize and plan our customer-facing content. You will also be hands on and write on-brand, engaging, converting copy for marketing materials including: web, blog, email, content assets, and digital ad copy. Experience developing a content plan for multiple personas and various stages of the funnel and producing marketing content with emotional resonance and technical excellence across multiple channels is required. You will work closely with the creative team, comms team, go-to-market team, the extended marketing organization, and other stakeholders across the company to develop a quarter-by-quarter plan for creating dynamic, compelling content to help Persado meet strategic objectives. And you get to do it at a company on the cutting edge of content, AI, and machine learning.


What You Will Work On:

  • Develop a comprehensive content plan for the various personas and stages of the funnel of our customer journeys
  • Own the blog. Create a blog program to grow readership and engagement, expand the contributors, and position us as a thought leader
  • Write marketing material with persuasive copy to create strong, engaging, emotional connections with customers and prospects at various points in the sales funnel
  • Produce various content marketing assets: articles - both long form and short form, infographics, blog posts, campaign content, customer emails, social media, and other items to meet goals
  • Collaborate with design and extended writing resources to execute on concepts/vision of editorial and creative directors
  • Align content to brand guidelines, write to brand voice, write to different audiences and personas
  • Edit, proofread, and improve content, responding to feedback and analytics to refine your work and others
  • Own the editorial calendar and ensure deadlines are met
  • Measure content efficacy, analyze data, and iterate on content efforts
  • Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics to ensure a strong web presence
  • Distribute content to stakeholders and across channels
  • Organize and maintain the content library


What You Bring:

  • Excellent written and communication skills in English with an understanding of structure, narrative, and storytelling
  • Proven work experience as a B2B tech content marketing manager including planning and production of different content types, understanding of channel strategies, digital marketing, and writing to personas, plus long and short form content production
    • Specifically experience managing and growing a B2B blog
    • Experience with B2B software tech, familiarity with AI and Ml tech
  • Performance-driven, with ability to analyze data, pull out learnings, predict audience preferences, understand where content needs to be developed or optimized, and set it into motion
  • Campaign content experience including usage of market messaging, segmentation, audience, and verticals to creative effective supporting copy and deliverables
  • Collaborative editorial experience with content and copy, open to accept and act on feedback
  • Basic understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and what it takes to create great web copy
  • Project management skills, including willingness to chase down approvals and hold stakeholders to meet deadlines; experience with Asana or other project management systems a plus
  • Super detail oriented, organized, and prepared, even if no one else is
  • Proficiency in Google Docs or MS Office, or other Content Management Software
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, History, English, Creative Writing, Communications or relevant field preferred
