A School Bus Monitor works a split shift, assisting in the transportation of students to and from school Monday to Friday from September to June. Monitors ensure children's safety and ensures that safe work practices are followed. A School Bus Monitor aids a driver in management of students on the school bus, providing additional supervision. All Voyageur School Bus Monitors provide superior customer service and many routes require drivers to work closely with individuals with special needs.
Primary Responsibilities
School Bus Monitors are responsible for supervising what we call the most precious cargo to and from school while ensuring students’ safety while boarding and exiting buses.
