Responsibilities
- Leading by example on solutioning, coding and shipping successfully
- Coding and contributing to the development and improvement of high quality features
- Write high quality, well-tested code at a senior developer level or higher
- Becoming an expert on our react front component suite, and backend C# runtime action execution engine
- Identifying areas of improvement within the software development lifecycle, including build pipelines, test automation, performance and uptime monitoring
- Collaborate with the leadership team to help drive insights within the product development department
- Coach direct reports (Junior/Intermediate Developers) including mentoring, managing, leading, and performing 1-on-1 meetings and performance reviews
- Actively participate and manage the process of hiring new software developers for your team
Requirements
Skills
- Extensive eperience in the Microsoft .NET stack, including C#, and WebAPI
- Strong Front-End skills, especially React, Redux, and CSS
- Excellent knowledge of SQL Server, SQL and ORM
- Excellent analytical skills including planning and problem solving
- Strong OOD/OOP skills and an understanding of design patterns
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, empowered, self organized team environment
- Experience coaching and/or managing junior developers
- An aptitude for learning and sharing new skills
- You can work with minimal supervision - you are experienced, professional and resourceful
- Post-secondary education in one of the following areas preferred: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent training/experience
Bonus (but not required)
- Experience with other SPAs such as AngularJS/Vue/etc
- Experience with NOSQL, such as MongoDB and ElasticSearch
- Experience with messaging architecture
- Experience with Git, Agile methodology, such as Scrum or Kanban
