What we’re looking for:

Our applications are used by thousands of people every day, and what you do will directly impact the user experience and interface. We are seeking a highly motivated computer science student to join us for a four month term, as a Front End (Javascript) Developer. As a Front End (Javascript) Developer Coop you will be working with a mentor to:

  • Develop and deliver reliable, scalable front end applications in EmberJS; TypeScript
  • Develop software for our large-scale web-application with a focus on client-side code;
  • Design and write well-structured, easily maintainable, and well-documented code;
  • Become acquainted with a software development workflow;
  • Hone your own programming skills; and
  • Learn how to contribute to a software development team.

Desired Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience with JavaScript and HTML
  • Familiar with Javascript front-end frameworks (i.e. Angular or React) and web app development
  • A solid understanding of Github and Continuous Integration
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
