Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced barbecue repair contractor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of grills and outdoor cooking equipment at customer sites. This is a Part-time position that requires a professional, reliable, and hardworking individual who takes pride in their work. Has the ability to work flexible hours that align with their schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of barbecues and outdoor cooking equipment
- Communicate with customers to identify and understand their repair needs
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies to minimize downtime and ensure efficient repairs
- Document repair work and parts used for billing and record-keeping purposes
- Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment when necessary
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in barbecue repair or related field
- Knowledge of various grill brands and models and their components
- Ability to diagnose and repair gas and charcoal grills, as well as other outdoor cooking equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
