The Industrial Electrician must work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with Stackpole International’s Health amp; Safety Policies and Procedures and Quality Systems, Procedures and Policies. Must become familiar and work with SPS, 5S and CI activities. Responsible for setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment while following safety rules and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
- Install, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits and other electrical components
- Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications to determine layout of equipment installations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electrical License or equivalent Electrical experience and 5 years of experience
- Must have working knowledge of machining principles and practices
- PLC experience is preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills. Able to work well independently or in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
Language Skills:
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written)
Work Environment (including Physical Demands):
- Work indoors. Environment can be noisy and dealing with different temperatures (i.e extreme heat)
- Ability to lift a maximum of 30lbs
- Work shifts may include days, afternoons, nights or continental
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods at a time
- Able to work overtime when required/requested

Salary and Benefits:
Full-time, permanent position. Salary will range from $36.00 - $40.00 depending on qualifications and experience.
