About the Role:
We are looking for a mobile engineer to help us build an outstanding experience for our customers. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with customers and the team to design and deliver high-quality products on iOS and Android.
What you will do:
- Design, build, test and ship customer-facing features using tools like React Native, TypeScript, ES6, and Redux
- Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of our customers
- Investigate and fix production issues
- Debug and performance tune code
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
What you bring:
- 2+ years of commercial experience building cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android
- 2+ year of experience developing on cloud platforms such as AWS and Firebase
- Excellent understanding of React and React Native best practises for state management, performance, testing and CI
- Understanding of mobile development UI/UX design principles and best practices
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve production issues
- Native app development experience in either iOS (Swift/ObjC) or Android (Kotlin/Java)
- Experience setting CI/CD pipelines for automating mobile software builds, test executions and deployments
- Motivated to drive technology innovation that directly benefits the customer
- Keeping up to date on React Native best practises
