We are looking to add a new member to our Maintenance team. This role is based in Stratford, ON.

This position is for the night shift.

Your role..

  • Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
  • Operating hoisting and lifting device to position machinery and parts during the installation, set up and repair of machinery.
  • Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts.
  • Operating machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery.
  • Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery.
  • Construction foundations for machinery.
  • Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
  • Ensures that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health and Safety Systems are met.

Your profile...

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Maintenance Mechanic skilled trades license.
  • Three to five years experience .
  • A strong background in hydraulics and pneumatics as well as some welding experience.
