We are looking to add a new member to our Maintenance team. This role is based in Stratford, ON.
This position is for the night shift.
Your role..
- Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Operating hoisting and lifting device to position machinery and parts during the installation, set up and repair of machinery.
- Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
- Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Operating machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery.
- Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery.
- Construction foundations for machinery.
- Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
- Ensures that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health and Safety Systems are met.
Your profile...
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Maintenance Mechanic skilled trades license.
- Three to five years experience .
- A strong background in hydraulics and pneumatics as well as some welding experience.
