Job Description

CareGuide was founded with one thing in mind: to ensure that anyone in search of care can find it. We help people take care of the things that are closest to their hearts: their homes, their pets, their parents, and their kids.

Nanny Lane is CareGuide's newest product, dedicated to making quality child care accessible to families across North America. We know that life can be stressful and busy, and the right childcare makes all the difference. Our tight-knit team is focused on building a best-in-class product (rated 4.8 stars on Google) while growing quickly (~90% year-over-year growth).

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who is excited to change the future of child care and is ready to bring their unique contributions to a top-quality design team. You'll closely collaborate with engineering, product, and design to define how we’ll work together to create impactful and innovative solutions for families’ and nannies’ most critical needs: child care and employment. We strongly believe in an agile, cross-functional and collaborative design culture. You’ll be reporting to our Design Manager, and you’ll start by pairing with our designers across the organization, all while making significant contributions yourself.

Work-Life Balance. We strive to work smarter, not longer. You choose what hours and timing suit your lifestyle (within reason), and we will do our best to accommodate.

Autonomy. We want everyone to be able to perform to their best ability, and we’ll give you the space to find a rhythm that works for you. Our process and approach are just as iterative as our work; we’re always open to trying new things.

Dedicated to Quality. We always do the best we can with any ambitious problems we’re solving. We work together and take pride in the experiences we create. Feedback is encouraged and welcomed to help everyone improve their crafts.

Collaboration. Being on a small team, team members work closely with all functions. It's essential to have excellent communication skills - listen first, and share knowledge second.
