Core Responsibilities

ExoShield (www.getexoshield.com) is sold by automotive aftermarket channel partners (Tint / PPF / Vinyl Installers, Detailers, Auto Glass etc.), car dealerships, and distributors in more than 50 countries today. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the expansion of our global footprint, enabling the growth of our current distributors and working to add new distributors in target regions around the world.

You will be the primary point of contact for our distribution partners. This means you will be responsible for working closely with each to understand their capabilities, limitations, potential, etc., and tailoring your approach for each distributor and their territory to help them grow their ExoShield sales.

At a high level, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and supporting distributors to launch, develop, and grow their ExoShield business
  • Performing deep market research to understand each market and it’s potential, developing a pragmatic growth strategy in order to set revenue and order volume expectations
  • Developing success strategies and growth plans closely with our distributors to ensure you deliver on your revenue and order volume forecast
  • Providing high quality support to distributors to help them overcome obstacles to growth
  • Building ExoShield's presence in existing and new, high potential international markets
  • Identifying target markets, prospecting and qualifying potential distributors, and managing the sales process to close
  • Spearheading the planning and strategy for new market launches to ensure their success
  • Overcoming cultural and language barriers to build highly successful working relationships with international distributors
  • Traveling to visit new and existing distributors in key markets when necessary
  • Supporting negotiations of distribution agreements and communicating and enforcing contractual terms such as MoQs and brand standards.

Requirements

At Alchemy, you will have the ability to make and participate in large decisions and the chance to voice new ideas and actually be heard. There is no hand holding, but there is an unspoken understanding that we are all expected to teach and support each other.

We’re looking for an intelligent, empathetic, and experienced professional who can take charge of our international growth and produce results. You don’t need to have worked in the automotive industry to succeed in this role, but it’s a huge plus if you have prior experience prospecting, negotiating, closing, and managing international partnerships.

The following experiences and skills will help you kick ass in this role:

  • A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record of success managing global partnerships, developing markets, and growing revenue (preferably in automotive, hardware, or technology fields)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are a bonus)
  • Prior experience working with clients in international markets and overcoming communication barriers
  • Expert ability to perform market research in order to deeply understand key markets and strategize for success in those markets
  • Experience managing complex contracts and enforcing the terms of contracts as needed
  • Polished phone, text, and email communication skills with a high standard for responsiveness
  • A get-it-done attitude with a contagious habit of outperforming on all objectives
