About the Team

Have you ever wanted to explore a career in sales, but weren’t sure where to start? If so, then the Flinks Sales Team could be the perfect place for you. We’re looking for a Business Development Representative who will contribute to the continued growth of our North American operations by creating top of the funnel opportunities for our Sales Executives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying businesses that could generate value from our data aggregation and enrichment services
  • Build relationships and engage with prospective clients by doing daily outbound and inbound lead generation
  • Partner directly with Sales Executives to identify winning strategies for outbound prospecting
  • Grow your career in sales through frequent development opportunities and mentorship from senior members of the Sales team
  • Find new and creative ways to source opportunities in new or existing markets and verticals

Who You Are

  • A self-motivated and results-driven individual with a hunter mindset
  • Passionate about pursuing a career in tech sales
  • Experienced in a business development role within the B2B tech industry
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive and productive relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Self-starter,who isn’t afraid to overcome objections and challenges
  • Creative strategist with a propensity for creating compelling messaging and content

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce/HubSpot and Salesloft/Outreach
  • Knowledge of financial services, open banking, and fintech companies in Canada and the United States
